Customer stories - real solutions for real challenges
Homeowner’s shower spacer
A customer was having difficulty installing a shower enclosure to his bathroom – the panels he’d received wouldn’t fit together properly, and the retailer was unwilling to help solve the problem. The family had been unable to use the shower for months and were becoming very frustrated with the situation! He reached out to us to see if we could help with producing some spacers that would enable the assembly – as it was only a small component... he required, we discussed different sizing options to help keep the costs down as he had already spent more than he intended to on this project, so making it affordable as well as workable were the main factors when getting these parts produced. In just over a week, we had delivered these spacers and he was able to fit these and get his shower working again.
Skincare distributor’s packaging blocks
A worldwide skincare distributor approached us with a project to manufacture some plastic blocks to enhance their production process, to aid with securing boxes as they were sealed before being sent out for delivery. They needed the blocks to be lightweight but sturdy, as they would be handled daily by their warehouse staff. We discussed their requirements in depth, and came up with a couple of options, which were quoted for. After being given... the go-ahead, the blocks were ordered and arrived with the customer in just over a week. The feedback was extremely positive from the warehouse team and the item has improved their packaging process.
Construction company spacers
A UK based construction company required numerous rectangular spacers for use between concrete planks. They approached us with their design spec in different sizes and we discussed the appropriate material and finish. Once these variables had been agreed upon, we provided a quote, along with datasheets for the material, which were accepted. The order was placed just before Christmas closure, and the products were... delivered onsite within 3 weeks.
