RI-CO Plastics Ltd’s mission is to help individuals and teams to easily access the world of plastic materials for use on various projects. We’ll supply to anyone (and there’s no minimum order on our products) but these are three industries with whom we’ve enjoyed fruitful partnerships.
Research and development (R&D) involves the literal generation of the new. When an organisation wants to develop new products, processes or services, or make improvements to existing ones, R&D is the initial phase of finding out if what is imagined is technically feasible?
We support R&D departments in industries throughout the private sector by supplying them with the intricate plastic components they need for their trial and improvement experiments.
This can also include the development of new plastic components using our custom manufacture service.
Schools, colleges and universities in the UK provide a world class education. And many of these offer technical courses that serve as the foundation for the next generation of skilled engineers to enter the workforce.
You’d be amazed at the sheer number of plastic components that student projects use as the best and brightest of British youth engage in the training that will serve them throughout their careers.
We are happy to supply in bulk to institutions, or in tiny amounts to help out individual trainees.
Plastic modelling is intricate artistic work that has been around as long as plastic has. The building and shaping of miniature models, the recreation in miniature of vehicles, planes, and spacecraft, and the creation of props for the TV and Film industries all fall under the remit of modelling.
All of the activities listed above rely on a steady supply of plastic components - sometimes in bulk for huge projects - some of which are quite hard to come by.
We’ve worked with modellers to supply large quantities of plastic components, and to create unique pieces for specific projects.
